For 126 days, the body of the Islamic Republic's leader lay unburied — a regime too afraid of what a funeral might unleash. The burial finally came on July 4, 2026 (13th of Tir), staged as an armed show of force across Tehran, Qom, and Mashhad. It was meant to project strength. "126 Days" is a reminder that the streets had already delivered their verdict long before that day arrived.

Built over a dark, heavy West Coast beat, the track moves bilingually. A female voice (Nika) opens and punctuates it as the voice of the street itself — mocking, unflinching. The Persian verse carries the anger and the lived reality of people on the ground; the English verse broadcasts the collapse to the rest of the world in a relentless, unbroken flow.

A Closer Look

Craft and Style

"126 Days" carries the same signature Vaajkhonya has built for years: a heavy West Coast, Northern California-rooted beat fused with unapologetically Persian language and rhyme construction — neither side giving way to the other.

🎵

West Coast Foundation

A dark, heavy beat in the same lineage as West Coast and Northern California hip-hop — the sound closest to Shayan's own instincts from the start.

💬

Bilingual Structure

The Persian verse carries the anger of the street; the English verse rebuilds the same story for a global listener, in a tight, relentless flow.

⚖️

Multi-Syllable Rhyme

Every line carries a rhyme built across several syllables, not just the last word. Here's an example, straight from the track.

کار رهبرو تموم کرد، ضربه‌ی نهایی ما
خواب مردکو حروم کرد، لرزه‌ی رهایی ما

— 126 Days

In that single couplet, "tamoom kard" rhymes with "haroom kard," and "nahaayi-ye maa" with "rahaayi-ye maa" — a sixteen-syllable, vowel-matched rhyme, not just a matching last word. It's the same precision Vaajkhonya has chased across the whole catalog: no syllable is filler.

Lyrics

126 Days

The lyrics below are given in the original Persian and English, exactly as performed — this is a bilingual track, so nothing here is translated.

Bridge — Nika

Verse Two — Shayan

Blood on the cold streets, mud on the gold seats Flood in the bold beats, thud in the old fleets The people rose up and killed the dictator The system froze up and spilled the sick nature One-twenty-six days, caught in a sick maze Gun-heavy click sprays, lost in the thick haze Holding the corpse of the failing oppressor Folding the force of the trailing aggressor Look at the wood box, shook by the hood blocks Crooks on the blood docks, hooks on the good locks Burying a body that turned into ashes Carrying a nobody burned in the clashes July the fourth comes, beating the war drums You lie and force crumbs, feeding the poor bums Sending the regime to the bottom of deep graves Ending the machine to the autumn of cheap slaves

Chorus

صد و بیست و شیش روزه! مرده روی دستتون! مرده‌شور نظمتون! خشم توده پیروزه! با این بوی نحستون! اینه گور پستتون!

Outro

مرده شور نظم و امنیتتونو ببرن مرده شور اقتدارتونو ببرن
